Hacienda Blu Beach Lounge & Grill

Highly recommend! The sushi, surf/turf, calamari were all great. You must try the peninsula paradise drink, muy bueno. Staff members, Javier and Diego, were very attentive and eager to answer questions. Great place to watch the sunset! Ps: get the churros :)

We decided to give this place a try on our first night…it was close to the hotel after a long day of traveling. The service was excellent and the food was good as well. My daughter had sushi that she loved! The rest of us split the surf and turf platter. It was delicious! The kids liked it bc it was right next to the beach, gave them a chance to burn a little energy before going back to the hotel.

We stayed in Sardinal for 8 days. Out of all the areas and restaurants we went to, including Playa del Coco, Playa Flamingo, Playa Hermosa, Rio Negro area, and some others, Hacienda Blu was by far our favorite place. The food was absolutely amazing, best quality we had during the whole trip, and the service was also great! We talked with multiple members of the staff, very friendly and we enjoyed great conversation with them. The drinks, atmosphere and vibe were also amazing. Definitely check it out!

Fantastic food! The wait staff were great. Nice open air right next to another beach. Lots of little crabs if you walk up to the beach. The rolls and sashimi were on point. Red snapper was cooked to perfection. Skirt steak and potatoes delicious. Then the desserts…yum. Leche frita and churros just a great cap to a great dinner.

Came here after our hotel recommended. It was so delicious. Try the ceviche!! We had a share land/sea which should be shared between 3/4!!! I’d say pretty affordable. Next to beach with parking. Staff super friendly.

We stopped for lunch. Had the Tropical Margarita which the wife loved. I ordered the lamb Kebab plate and the wife had the Tropical Ceviche. The ceviche was packed full of flavors and delicious. The Kebab plate had entirely too much marinara sauce. Overall 9/10.

We chose this place randomly by just looking at Hacienda Beach overview on a map and it did not disappoint. The food was exquisite and the views and the surrounding area were magnificent. What a very relaxing place to eat. We had cocktails, which were also delicious. Expect to spend in the neighborhood of $75 per person. I would definitely eat here again.

Got a Vegan Burger in Costa Rica!! So excited about that! Fries were great also! Wonderful atmosphere right off the beach with some little shops, dance aerobics going on, live band! Great service!
